Another way from St. Louis is to take Highway 21 to Potosi. Then take Highway 8 West from Potosi to the Forest Service Sign, then north on Berryman Road, to the campground. Coming from Columbia or Kansas City, Take Highway 70 east to exit 175. Take Highway 19 south to Steelville. Take Highway 8 east to the Berryman Campground.

Race Results

2007 saw cooler temps and scorching times. Records fell like leaves in the fall. In the 50 mile run, Eric Grossman set an overall record with a blistering time of 6:33:27. Tom Whalen also beat his own previous overall record and scored a new Masters mark with a time of 6:46:53. Robin Kokjohn rounded out the 50 mile record setters with a Sr. Female record time of 11:03:52.

The "fun run" also had it's fair share of record breakers as well as perhaps the largest number of first time marathoners in Berryman history. Brian Beckort lit up the trail with a new overall record of 3:11:46. Don Frichtl broke his own Seniors record with a strong 3:46:39. Despite getting lost, Marla Luckey bested the women's Open record with a time of 3:57:00. After tying the Double Chubb Grand Masters record, Tony Kramer decided to break the GM marathon record with a time of 4:33:20. Finally, Booper kept her K-9 win streak alive with a convincing win.
