In 2005, the St. Louis Ultrarunners Group was proud to announce a new race series focusing on ultra events in the Eastern Missouri region. It was an exciting year as competitors slugged it out on the trails and pavement. 2010 sees the return of the EMUS series with five races. The year starts off with a new event being added to the series. The Howard L. Aslinger Foundatation 24-12-1 hour Endurance Weekend offers a great challenge to start the spring. Next up is the 12 annual Double Chubb 25K/50K and then on to the unpredictable Berryman Trail Runs. Flatlanders 6 & 12 Hour Runs gives runners a chance to rack up the miles for a great cause and participants have a challenging time on the roads at the Spirit of the Osage 20K/50K. Best of luck to all!
Runners are automatically entered in the EMUS series when they participate in a SLUG event. Winners of each division will receive a beautiful plaque at the end of the series.
