From St.Louis, take Highway 44 west to the Jefferson City Exit. Go west on Highway 50 to Highway 100 North, in the town of Linn. Go 5 miles to Highway C. Take Highway C to the Frankenstein Community Ball Park.
From Jefferson City, take Highway 50 East to the town of Linn, go left on Highway 100 North. Turn left on Highway C to the Frankenstein Community Ball Park. The ballpark is on the right.

The Course
This is a hilly loop course. It goes through the towns of Frankenstein, Bonnots Mill and Linn. There is an out and back for the 50K.
2008 Frankenstein Marathon and Spirit of the Osage 50K
The race will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2008. Start time is 8:00 am for both races, with a limit of 9 hours.
The fee is $45 for the Marathon, and $50 for the 50K, if received by September 10th, 2008. Thereafter add $10 for each. All entrants will receive a confirmation via email. No refunds. No race day entries. Race limited to 200 runners. $10 discount to SLUG members. Must be at least 18 years of age on race day to enter.

Packet pickup: Will be on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Hotel DeVille in Jefferson City. Also, on Sunday at the Frankenstein Community Ball Park from 6:30 am until 7:45 am.
Awards: Belt buckles for the 50K finishers. Finisher medals for the marathon finishers. Overall and age group awards.
Aid Stations: Aid stations will be approximately every 4 miles. Runners will be provided with water and sports drink.
